We are committed to transparency and the security of your data. Here’s how we handle the information required for the bots to function.
UnrealHQ is a BYOA (Bring Your Own API) platform. Your API key — whether from ElectronHub, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, or a custom provider — is required for the bot to generate AI responses on your behalf. We store your key securely in our database. It is only ever used to authenticate your requests with your chosen provider. We will never share, expose, or use your API key for any other purpose.
To provide a persistent memory, we store the content of your conversations with the bots. This data includes your Discord User ID, the Channel ID, and the text of the messages. This information is stored solely for the purpose of providing conversational context to the AI and is never shared with third parties.
You have full control over your data. Using the Memory Manager, you can view, edit, and permanently delete your conversation history on a per-channel basis at any time. Deleting a conversation removes it from our database entirely. You can also export your full conversation history in JSON or JSONL format.
